Film Editor

We are seeking a talented Film Editor to bring the Director’s vision to life. The Film Editor will be responsible for reviewing extensive footage, assembling it into a cohesive final product, and adhering to project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand the Director’s vision by reading scripts
• Visit filming locations to gain context and insight
• Review and select scenes that align with the Director’s vision
• Trim and edit segments of footage to create a seamless narrative
• Collaborate with Sound Editors, Sound Effects Editors, and Cinematographers
• Make revisions based on the Director’s feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film and Television, Media, or a related field
• Proven experience in the film industry
• Proficiency with video editing tools, techniques, and software
• Familiarity with camera equipment
• Strong critical and analytical skills
• Exceptional patience and concentration
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
